When: Weekdays, with SATERN Roundtable on Mondays, @ 8:00pm EDT
Why: The purpose(s) of this Net...

To provide communication services in support of the operations of The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services within the Michigan / Great Lakes region.

To create a venue for emergency communication, between SATERN units across the three Salvation Army Divisions serving the state of Michigan; Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan and Northern Indiana.

Provide a common point of information sharing for all member agencies of the Michigan AuxComm organization.
The net is managed by The Great Lakes Emergency and Traffic Net
SATERN is now a component of the GLETN (Great Lakes Emergency and Traffic Net),
held nightly at 8:00pm (pre-net) / 8:30pm (net proper) on 3.932MHz.
SATERN members are invited to check-in to the GLETN. Please state that you
are a SATERN member when you do so.
NOTE: The GLETN is part of the NTS system. In and outbound NTS traffic for/from WMNI SATERN may be brought to this net, any night of the week.
Michigan AuxComm members from other agencies are already a part of this net.
ARES, RACES, and MARS operators attend regularly.
MONDAY EVENINGS: The GLETN will be immediately followed by a SATERN roundtable.
News and announcementsof interest to SATERN/Auxcomm members are welcome.
The GLETN and Monday night SATERN roundables are open to all amateur operators.
